Chapter 8

Lyssa opened her eyes and felt someones breath on the back of her neck. She tensed up for a second then remembered it was just Aaron. After they had there little talk they had fallen asleep on the couch in his tour bus. Lyssa smiled as she thought back to there conversation.

"Do you regret what you just did?" Lyssa asked as Aaron looked at her in shock.

" No of course not! I've been waiting for that to happen ever since you walked in the door the night i met you. Do you regret it?" He asked as Lyssa shook her head.

" No I dont. I've waited for who knows how long for that to happen but...." Lyssa said trailing off as Aaron took her hand and she looked up at him.

" But what?" Aaron asked.

" But where do we stand? Are we still friends or are we more?" Lyssa asked as Aaron smiled and kissed her forehead.

" We’re way more Lyssa, way more" He said and suddenly she knew everything would be alright.

Lyssa turned on her side to see Aaron looking at her and smiled. He put his arms around her and she couldnt help but putting her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes and thought of how it all felt so right. How maybe they'd stay like this forever, If only it could be that way. The door of the tour bus opened and Lyssa quickly got off the couch and sat in a chair across the room. Aaron gave her a strange look as Nick walked into the room.

" Hey" Aaron and Lyssa said at the same time.

" Hey were at the arena so get your stuff together and Lyssa, Jocy wants to talk to you" Nick said as Lyssa nodded.

" Ok tell her ill be there in a second" Lyssa said as she went into the bathroom. Nick gave his brother a look after Lyssa closed the door. He saw Aaron was smiling and knew something was up but decided to leave the subject alone until later that night. Aaron on the other hand was confused, what had just happened?

*Later That Day*

Lyssa finished her sound check and walked backstage. She didnt see Jocelyn or Nick anywhere which was weird. Usually one of them was running around getting things ready for the concert. She did see Aaron talking to the guys of Dream Street though. They would be opening up for Aaron for the rest of the tour right after she went on stage. She smiled as Aaron waved her over and walked to where they were.

" Guys this is Lyssa. Lyssa this is Matt, Chris, Greg, Frankie, And Jesse" Aaron said as he introduced them and they all shook hands. Before anyone could say anything else there manager told them it was time for rehersal. They all said a quick good bye .Before she knew it, all 5 of them were gone and Aaron had taken her hand in his. She smiled at him but her smile quickly faded at the look in his eye.

" Whats wrong?" Lyssa asked as he shook his head. Nothing was wrong he was just confused.
" Nothing I just wanna know something" Aaron said.

" Whats that?" Lyssa asked looking around the room for Nick or Jocelyn.

" Why did you move away this morning when Nick came in?" He asked.

" I just thought maybe we should keep everything a secret until we know its serious you know" Lyssa said.

" Yeah and I really dont think Nick would you want you having a boyfriend since your a new artist and need to focus on your career" Aaron said. She smiled a little. He understood what she was getting at thank god. She gave him a small kiss on the cheek and couldnt help but laugh. She just imagined all her friends at home being jealous of her.

" What you laughing at?" Aaron asked.

" I could just imagine all my friends at home being jealous of me" She said as she heard Jocelyn and Nick walking down the hallway. Aaron let go of Lyssa's hand and saw the two walk towards them. Lyssa couldnt help but notice how close they were to each other. She looked towards Aaron and could tell he noticed too. She looked at there hands and smiled when she saw them interwined with each others. So there was something going on with her sister and Nicky boy. She was just gonna find out what that was exactly.
