Chapter 2

“ uh…uh…thanks” Lyssa stuttered out as her mouth dropped. Nick Carter was walking right towards her. This had to be a dream. The best part about it was he told her she wasn’t that bad at singing. She looked over at her sister and laughed at the shocked look on her face. Nick stopped at where the girls were and smiled. 

 “ Hey, I’m Nick and you two are?” He asked. 

“ I’m Jocelyn and this is Lyssa. It’s nice to meet you” Jocelyn said finally coming back to life and shaking Nick’s hand. Nick looked at Jocelyn and back at Lyssa.  

“ Lyssa do you think you could sing for me again?” Nick asked as Lyssa nodded. She took a deep breath and started to sing the first song that came to her mind. Jocelyn watched Nick while he listened to her little sister sing. Sure, Nick was her favorite backstreet boy already but seeing him in person made her melt even more. Lyssa finished up her song as Jocelyn continued to stare at Nick. How could they be so lucky to meet him?  

“ That is some impressive singing. How old are you?” Nick asked as he noticed Jocelyn staring at him intently. He couldn’t help but look her over finding that she was very cute.

“ I’m 14” Lyssa said as Nick gave her a shocked look.

“ Wow that is one big voice for a 14 year-old!” Nick said as Lyssa laughed.

“ You know what why don’t I take you and Jocelyn backstage and see what Aaron thinks about your singing?” Nick asked as Lyssa’s mouth dropped.

“ Your kidding right?” Lyssa asked as Nick shook his head.

“ Please Jocy please, please, please^” Lyssa begged as Jocelyn once came back to reality since she was all caught in Nick’s look.

“ huh?” She asked as Lyssa laughed silently to herself.

“ Nick wants to take us backstage to meet Aaron and he wants me to sing for Aaron, If you say no I swear ill beat you butt” Lyssa said as Nick started to laugh.

“ Sure we could go” Jocelyn said as Lyssa jumped up and hugged her sister.

“ Thank you thank you thank you!” Lyssa said to both Nick and her sister at the same time.

“ Its not a problem” Nick said looking at Jocelyn who looked away from him.

“ Lets go!” Lyssa said as she started to get anxious and Nick and Jocelyn both laughed at her. The two sisters followed Nick backstage to where the crew was setting up some stuff. That’s when Lyssa saw him, the blonde haired, brown-eyed hunk she was in love with playing some basketball like 3 feet away from them.

“ Dude! Get your butt over here!” Nick yelled as he got Aaron’s attention and he made his way over to them. Lyssa felt her heart start to beat quickly and started to feel nervous. She couldn’t believe she was backstage meeting Aaron Carter.

“ AC, I would like you to meet two lovely ladies I met, Lyssa and Jocelyn. Lyssa, Jocelyn this is Aaron” Nick introduced them and they shook hands. When Aaron shook Lyssa’s hand he felt a tingly feeling run through him and shook his head.

“ Nice to meet you” Aaron said as he smiled at them.

“ Same here” The two said as Nick pulled Aaron away for a second and whispered something in his ear.

“ Uh, oh” Lyssa thought as Aaron smiled at what Nick was saying and they came back over towards the two girls.

“ Can you sing for Aaron please Lyssa” Nick asked as Lyssa nodded and started to sing the lyrics once again. While Lyssa was singing Nick looked over at Jocelyn and pulled her to the side.

“ Do you two think you can come backstage after the concert?” Nick asked as Jocelyn nodded.

“ Yeah, we could, is there something you want to talk to us about?” Jocelyn asked as she looked at Nick and his cheesy smile.

“ Yeah, but you’ll see later. Here’s the passes” Nick said as he took out two passes from his pocket and handed them to Jocelyn.

“ Damn your good!” They heard Aaron say and they headed back over towards the two teenagers.

“ Thanks” Lyssa said as she smiled. A man came up behind Aaron and tapped him on the shoulder.

“ Time to eat AC” He said as Aaron nodded.

“ Well I guess we got to go now” Aaron said looking at Lyssa and smiling.

“ Ok well see you after the concert then right?” Jocelyn asked as Nick and Aaron nodded and Lyssa gave her a weird look.

“ Bye for now” They all said as went there separate ways. 

 

*~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~* The Concert *~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~*

Jocelyn and Lyssa found their seats and Lyssa awed at how close they were to the stage. She smiled at the thought of meeting Aaron and Nick. Maybe just maybe Nick had good news to tell them after the concert. The opening acts were already over and they were waiting for Aaron to come on stage and shine. The lights went off and the fans started to scream as music started to play. Finally she was gonna see Aaron sing onstage. She couldn’t help but love how he put some much passion into the music he was singing, giving all the fans a good show. He came out and started with his first song and she joined the screaming and jumping fans. Aaron spotted her in the crowd and pointed to her as he smiled. All through the concert he looked at her or pointed at her. This was the greatest day in her entire life and she was never gonna forget it. Little did she know it was just gonna get better. The lights went back on and Lyssa and Jocelyn headed backstage. They showed there passes to the security guards and one of the big security guards showed them where Nick and Aaron were. Lyssa hesitantly knocked on Aaron’s dressing room door and Nick opened it.  

“ hey!” he said as he allowed them to enter.

“ Hey” both girls said as they walked into the room and Lyssa looked around for Aaron who came out of a room that was joined to the one they were in.

“ Sit down” Aaron said gesturing to the couch that was behind them. Lyssa and Jocelyn sat down and Nick and Aaron sat down in two chairs in front of them.

“ So what did you need to talk to us about?” Jocelyn asked as Nick smiled but Aaron frowned. Aaron didn’t go along with this idea at all. Sure some of it was ok but not all.

“ Well, Aaron and I…” Nick started to say as Aaron cut him off.

“ You mean just you Nick” Aaron said harshly as Lyssa looked at him surprised. Now she was seeing a different side of Aaron.

“ Ok I decided that I wanted to help Lyssa get a record contract but also let her open up for Aaron’s tour for about a week. But you’ll have to come on tour with us as soon as you can since you need songs and a routine and stuff” Nick said as Aaron rolled his eyes and got up.

“ Ill meet you on the bus ok?” Aaron asked as he looked at Lyssa and walked out of the room.

“ Oh my god are you serious?!” Lyssa practically screamed as Nick nodded his head with a smile. Lyssa got up and jumped up and down trying to hide her sadness.

“ Is this ok with you Jocelyn?” Nick asked.

“ Yup its fine with me” Jocelyn said as Lyssa continued to jump up and down. She was gonna be a singer, her dreams were gonna come true. But why wasn’t Aaron happy for her?
