I woke up and saw a bright light shining down
on me. A beautiful woman came out of
the sky and stood next to my bed. She
took my hand as she looked down on me.
“Please, Brian, don’t be afraid.
I wont hurt you,” she said, as I nodded.
Her hand was cold, and she looked a lot like
the blessed mother.
“Who are you?” I asked.
“My name’s Mary,” she said, her eyes moving to
the window.
“Why are you here, Mary?” I asked as my gaze
went to where she was looking. I
noticed I was in the hallway, looking at a body through the glass window.
“You have little time, Brian. In that little time, you need to do the
things that you think are right,” Mary said as my eyes focused on the body
laying in the bed.
My eyes widened as I got a clear view of who I
was looking at - the person’s body was my own.
“What are you trying to say, Mary, that I’m
going to die?” I asked.
“I can’t tell you that, Brian. I’m just here to warn you,” Mary said, as
she slowly started to fade away.
“Mary, don’t go. I don’t understand,” I said.
“You’ll see soon enough, Brian,” she said as
she fully disappeared into mid air.
I closed my eyes as I felt my soul start to
feel warm again. I opened my eyes to
see two pairs of eyes looking down on me.
“Brian, you OK?” Howie asked me as I felt the
cold floor against my back.
“I saw a woman,” I said as they helped me up
and into a chair.
What are you talking about, Brian”? AJ asked.
I
looked around the room and saw a picture of the woman I saw in my
unconsciousness. My eyes widened in
shock.
“I saw her!” I said pointing at the picture on
the wall.
“You saw the blessed mother?” they both said at
the same time.
“Yes I did, and I’m not crazy. I saw her!” I said as they both looked at me
strangely.
“Rok, I think you need some rest, man,” AJ said,
as I nodded. Maybe he was right.
I heard a voice in my head that sounded like
Mary’s.
“There’s no time to rest, Brian. You need to see Nick now before anything
happens,” the voice said, as I got up and walked out of the room.
