Chapter 3

Nick would you hurry up lordy boy it doesn't take that long" Mel sighed and sat back down on the sofa. She was already ready and she waited on Nick to finish whatever he was doing in the bathroom.

"I'm coiming" Nick yelled

"well hurry up" Mel yelled. Mel heard teh bathroom door open and Nick ran down the stairs.

"took you long enough" Mel said standing up and smoothing out her black skirt.

"shut up"Nick said walking into the kitchen. Mel followed him in and watched him walk to the fridge and take out the orange juice. He walked over to the cabinet and grabbed a glass slowly pouring a glass he slowly bringing it up to hi slips the whole time looking at Mel knowing he was driving her crazy.

"your doing thi son purpose"

"doing what" Nick said setting the glass in teh sink and putting the juice up.

"fine i'm leaving" Mel walking out the kitchen and into the living room. Nick laughed and followed her.

"how you have no car" Nick said holding up the keys to his Durango.

"ahh" Mel said in frustation. She marched over to Nick and reached for the keys but Nick was to quick for her and she missed.

"give me the keys Nick" Mel said jumping up trying to reach the keys.

"ummm nope"

"Niiiiicccccckkkkkkk" Mel whinned

"Meeeeeellllllllllll" Nick mocked her Mel was know wlaing circles around Nick reaching for the keys.

"Mel just give up"Nick said

"NEVER!!!" Mel yelled and jumped on Nicks back she snatched the keys and got down running as fast as she could out the house.

"hey wait a minute" Nick yelled running after her locking teh door behind him.

"come on Nicky" Mel yelled from the passenger seat. Nick walked over to teh car and got in.

"you don't play fair"

"oh please and you do"

"yes I do" Nick said matter of factly

Leah put the finishing touches on her makeup checking herself over in the mirror. smoothing out the dress she had chosen to wear she could hear voiced talking downstairs and knew that the part goers had started arrive. She walked down the steps seeing Aj talking to some guys. Aj looked up at her and smiled

"there you are" Aj said taking her hand and pulling her over to them. Two guys stood infront of him. The two were argiung over a basketball game and what teams were teh best.

"guys" Aj interupted them. They both looked at her but only one caught her eyes. His brown hair was tosseled and he had the sexiest brown eyes. Michael looked at teh woman infront of him speachless. Her brown eyes were so captivating. He stared at her smilig a bit watching hi slight brown cheeks fill with a light pink color.

"Leah this is Steve" Aj introduced for teh frist time Leah looked at Steve and smiled.

"and this guy is Michael" Aj said

"hi" Michael said taking Leah's hand and shaking it lightly.

"hi" Leah replied

"guys this is my friend and new room mate Leah" Michael smiled finally knowing her name. Leah saw the door open and in walked Kevin and Brian.

"hey guys" Leah said They both walked over to Leah and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"hey"

"Nick an dMel get here yet?"Brian asked

"nope not yet" Leah said A few minutes later Leah had taken herself away from Aj and Michael and found her way into the kitchen. She opened teh fridge and pulled out a beer for Aj and a wine cooler for herself.She turned around just intime to see him walk through the door. He stood there adn just looked at her.

"leah right?"

"yeah"

"so your living with Aj how come hes never mentioned you or I havent seen you around"Michael asked bodly

"i dunno why don't you ask him" Leah said walked pass him and out the kitchen. The front door opened for teh 50th time and it was Mel and Nick.

"look what the cat draged in"

"sorry were late it was all his fault" Mel said pointing to Nick

"it was not" Nick protested

"yes it was"

"was no"

"oh please shut up" Leah said

"hey" Nick and Mel both sid at the same time

"ok now that everyone is here it's time to PAR-TAY!!" AJ yelled turning up the radio. The party lasted for a few hours and people started to leave a few at a time. Mel walke dover to LEah and put her arm over her shoulder.

"hey dreamy eyes"

"what did you call me" Leah said looking at Mel

"hello it's so obvious why don't you go talk to him"

"talk to who"

"Michael the one you've been staring at all night" Mel said

"has it been that long"

"yeah it has but were gonna blow this joint and go home. call you in teh morning girl" Mel said giving Leah a quick hug and walknig out the door with Nick behind her. Leah watched Michael get up and walked over to her. He sat down next to her an dlooked at her.

"sorry about the kitchen thing I didn't mean for it to sound the way it did. I was just curious about the beautiful girl staying with AJ" Leah blushed and smiled

"it's ok"

"I was just wondering if you would like to go out to lunch with me sometime if thats ok with you"

"yeah i'd like that" Leah said.

Aj watched from the other side of the room and Leah and Micheal exchanged numbers. He didn't think nothing of it as the blonde nibbled on his earlobe. She whispered something in his ear and he smiled. Leah watched as the last of the party goers left. She closed the door and looked around. Aj was no where to be found.

"I guess it's time to clean up" She said wlaking over to the radio and turning it down. She started picking up stuff and tossing it in the trashbag she held in her hand. an hour and a half later she was done. She walked up teh stairs to her room and into her bathroom. After a quick shower sheput on her pajamas she got in bed and went to sleep.
