Chapter 12

AJ watched as Leah ran to her room and heard the door slam shut. He shook his head as he put his head in his hand. What had he done? She probably wont even want to get with him now or talk to him. He walked up the stairs to Leah's door and tried to open it but it was locked.

" Leah let me in i want to talk to you" AJ called through the door as he put his ear up to the door and heard her cryin.

" No leave me the fuck alone. You ruined everything AJ!!" She yelled as AJ heard the pillow hit the door.

" I'm sorry...." Aj started to say as another pillow hit the door.

" Sorry aint good enough aj. You practically ruined my future with Michael!!" She choaked out as AJ's heart broke. Everything was about Michael even after he tried to show her his feelings. Aj walked down the stairs and grabbed his keys from off table and walked out to his car.

AJ walked up the stairs to Nick's house and rang the doorbell. He kept on thinking about the hurt look on Leah's face as she ran up the stairs. He didnt mean the hurt her all he wanted to do was show her that he loved her, even before Michael came into the picture. The door opened and AJ saw Mel standing there with Nick behind her.

" What you doin here?" AJ asked as Mel looked around for Leah.

" I feel so loved today. No hey or any hugs" Mel said pretending to get teary eyed and AJ smiled as he hugged her.

" Where's leah?" Mel asked as AJ walked into the house and Nick closed the door.

" Back at the house" AJ said and Mel knew something was wrong just by the look in his eyes.

" Why'd you come back?" AJ asked getting off that subject.

" I missed every one" Mel said glancing over at Nick and he smiled.

" After nearly 24 hours?" AJ asked as he laughed.

" Im gonna go talk to Leah ill be back later" Mel said as she got up and grabbed Nick's keys.

" Hey thats my car you know" Nick said as Mel grined.

" I know thats the whole point in trying to piss you off" Mel said as she waved bye and walked out.

" So whats the real reason she's back?" AJ asked.

" That is the real reason she missed everyone" Nick said not lookin AJ in the eyes while he lied.

" Oh come on I saw the look she gave you" AJ said.

" I think we should talk about you and Leah what happened dude" Nick asked as AJ looked away.

" Michael's what happened. That ass just had to come into the picture" AJ said as Nick narrowed his eyes brows and his mouth opened.

" You like her dont you?" Nick asked.

" It's not just like it's love" AJ said.

" What happened"

" We started to fight about why I didnt like Michael and I kissed her. Then the ass walks in when were kissing and he breaks up with her and Now shes probably mad at me for eternity" AJ said as he leaned back against the chair he was sitting in. Nick looked at AJ and noticed he was about to cry.

" Are you doin anything for the 4th?" Nick asked tryin to change the subject.

" Probably gonna have a party at my place but your not invited" AJ said kiddingly.

" Oh i could just feel the love in this room today" Nick said as Aj smiled.

Mel rang the door bell waiting for Leah to answer. She touched her stomach and frowned. She thought of Nick of her frown only got bigger. What would his reaction be? Would he tell her to go back to Chicago and live with Max? The door opened and Mel was interupted out of her thoughts.

" Mel?" Leah said as Mel nodded and they hugged.

" What you doin back?" Leah asked as they released from the hug and walked into the house.

" I just missed everyone especially u and Nick" Mel said as they sat down on the couch and Mel looked at her.

" Everything alright Leah? you look upset" Mel said as Leah shook her head and tears started to form in her eyes again.

" Everythings wrong Mel" Leah said as she wipped her eyes " AJ kissed me and Michael walked in and he dumped me. He didnt even let me explain and he dumped me" Leah cryed as Mel hugged her.

" Everything will be fine" Mel said as Leah shook her head.

" No it wont. He left me because of AJ the asshole. If he didnt kiss me then I would of never lost Michael. He meant everything to me and now hes gone" Leah said as she continued to cry. After Leah calm down she sat up on the couch and looked around.

" So why you back?" Leah asked as Mel looked at her.

" I already told you because of Nick" Mel said as Leah shook her head.

" You two are up to something arent you?"

" No why would we be?" Mel asked tryin not to smile.

" Before I left Nick wrote me this note confessing his feelings to me and he told me not to open it until i got home. So when i got home i opened it and I just knew that it was meant to be. I came back out here and me and Nick are together but no one knows besides you" Mel said as Leah smiled.

" Well thats good for you.......or i think it is" Leah said noticing Mel's smile fade away.

" No its not"

" why not?" Leah asked suddenly confused.

" does Nick know?" Leah asked as Mel shook her head.

" Ok i promise" Leah said as Mel huged her.

" Are you coming tomorrow for the 4th of july party?" Leah asked as Mel shrugged.

" Ok see ya" Leah said as Mel opened the door and walked out to Nicks car and drove back to the house.
