Chapter 11

The door bell rang and Nick groaned. He looked at the clock on his dresser and saw it was only 7:00 am.

" Probably one of the guys figures on a day that we have off they come over at the earliest freakin hour of the morning" nick thought putting the pillow over his head and covering his ears. Nick pushed the pillow against his ears tighter as the door bell rang again.

" Just leave me alone" Nick mumbled under his pillow and heard the door bell ring once again. He threw his pillow on the floor and got up out of bed. He walked down the stairs and into the living room.

" Im gonna kick who ever's butt " Nick said as he opened the door.

" Ok why the fu....Mel what are u doing here?!" Nick said as he looked at who was standing before him. Mel moved closer to Nick and gentlelly kissed Nick. Nick stood there shocked for a second but kissed her back. They pulled away and things ran through his mind.

" Why are you back in Florida i thought you were staying in chicago" Nick said as he let mel in and closed the door. Mel took something out of her pocket and opened up Nick's letter and showed it to him.

" What's that suppose to mean?" Nick asked looking at the letter and to Mel.

" I have the same feelings for you" Mel said as Nick smiled.

" Are you gonna stay in Florida now?" Nick asked as Mel shrugged.

" I dont know it depends" Mel said as she sat down and Nick sat next to her.

" Depends on what?" Nick asked looking at her.

" If were gonna become more then just friends" Mel said as she looked at Nick.

" Do you want to?" Nick asked.

" I dont know I mean if we do and it doesnt work then we'll never be able to be the friends we were " Mel said as Nick took her hand.

" But we both love each other and I want to be with you" Nick said as Mel leaned her head on Nick's shoulder.

" I want to be with you too but dont you think its too much of a risk to loose all those years of friendship?" Mel asked as Nick put his arm around her.

" It wont be a risk. If it doesnt work we could always go back to how it was no one has to know about us being together it could just be between u and me until we decide" Nick said as Mel smiled and looked at him.

" So what do you want to do?" Nick asked as Mel kissed him.

" Does that answer your question?" Mel asked as Nick nodded and kissed her.
