Epilogue
“A glooming peace
this morning with it brings. The sun for sorrow will not show its head. Go
hence to have more talk of these sad things. Some shall be pardoned and some
will be punished. For never was there a story of more woe then this of Juliet
and her Romeo. Thank you for joining us.” John Norris replied as the newscaster
went off the air.
Both Nick’s and
Jessica’s parents gathered outside the hospital. Heather clutched Seth’s hand.
Never had either families or friends thought that their children or friends
would take their lives. The chief of police stood on the top step,
“You can’t ever
forbid love…now look were this has gotten you…now you have no children…and why?
Because they knew you wouldn’t approve of their love.” He replied. Both of the mothers
began to weep. Heather turned away and began to cry. Even Seth was seen on the
verge of tears.
“My only love sprung from my only hate.”
