Jason watched the kiss. His eyebrows lifted but
he said nothing. Jessica drew back and blushed. She turned away from him.
“We wish to be wed.” Nick replied. The father
nodded.
“Ok.” He replied. Jessica smiled and they left
at that. Jessica entered her house and quickly ran to find her parents.
“Mother!” She exclaimed as her mother came into
view. Her mother turned and smiled when she saw her daughter,
“Aw…Jessica I have some news for you.” Janice
replied. Jessica stopped,
“Me two, but you go first.” She replied. Her
mother smiled.
“Well by me and your father’s approval you will
be married to Seth by next Tuesday.” Her mother explained happily. Jessica’s
smiled faded she turned to face her father who was smiling at her. Jessica’s
eyes began to moisten and her mother caught her breath.
“Jessica you will be made a happy bride.” Her
father replied. Jessica shook her head,
“I will not be made a happy bride!” She
exclaimed. Her mother and father stared at her in disbelief. Jessica ran from
the room and up to her room. She quickly picked up her phone and dialed her
friend’s number.
“Hello?” Heather Branson answered the phone.
Jessica explained what had happened and Heather understood but she did not have
any comforting words for Jessica,
Maybe you should be married to Seth…” Jessica
didn’t hear anymore of it she slammed the phone down on the receiver.
Nick stopped the car at the beach and got out.
He ran over to where the group was sitting,
“Brian!” He exclaimed. Brian turned towards him
and Nick stopped when he saw who was next to him. Justin and the rest of N*sync
stood at the small table.
“Nick may I have a word?” Justin asked.
