Angelic Wars II
Simon, not unlike his father, when his time came, exiled himself from the world of man. Entering into the planes of Heaven and Hell, also unlike his father, he chose no sides.
In one battle, he faught with the demons of Hell, killing dozens of angels that crossed his deadly path of distruction. He faught as he always did, his mind in a primal state killing anything that he came up against. In his wake lay a dozen angels but more so there lay a trail of thirty demon he had slain to get to those angels.
When Simon faught with the angels there was no such destruction. The angels wise enough to not get within sword range of him stood back. Not only did the angels not trust him they feared him. Many angels seeing in Simon his father, a General in the begining days of the Angelic Wars.
Simon went were the fighting was. In months he had killed thousands of demons and angels alike. Neither side would fight against or with him, both learning well taught lessons. In Simons mind this had become his own personal war. Killing battle groups of both, challanging duels and just placing himself into the center of the warring affairs of each.
It became clear to the Generals of the Angels and Demons of his true intentions. After two duels in one day Simon arrived upon the battlefield. Armed with his sword sheathed at his back and two swords in his hands. One was the sword of slain General of the Angels and the in the other hand the sword of the slain General of the Demons. Having bested them both in one on one combat, the Angelic blade of Good and the Demonic blade of Evil where now his to weild as he saw fit.
Having something else in mind he stood between the two armies. Holding out the hilt of the Angelic blade to the Demonic army and the Demonic blade hilt to the Angelic army, he waited. Both swords symbolizing the victory of over the other...The keys to the Gates of Heaven or Hell.
It was the demons who moved first for the hilt of the Angels blade. Though it was Simon who thusly fooled them both by embedding the blades in the ground before him. Pulling free his own sword from its sheath he shattered them in one swift blow. Both armies came to a sudden halt in confusion and loss.Wise in his actions Simon retrieved the shards left of the Angelic and Demon swords leaving the battlefield behind. This was the only battle he had faught where no blood from either side had been shed.
Both armies planned thier next attack for near a month. When Simon arrived the battle was ending the field skattered with the dead and dying bodies of angels and demons alike. Never raising a sword himself Simon watched to see which side would prevail. This war be known was never to be won. Battle of good and eveil never to end.
He still watched as what would seem to be the ending battle waged on. This would be the last day of his incolment. Stepping out onto the bloody field Simon waded to the center of the remaining fighters. Both sides halted in thier fight with one another and turned thier blades to him.
Simon using a twin bladed sword he had forged from the fragments of the the former Angelic and Demonic blades faught effortlessly back. An explosive blast errupted from the clashing of steel each time he struck metal to metal besting demon and angel with the combined weapon. Simon of course could not win this unending battle. A dozen Archangel plucked Simon from the fight. This done not to protect him but to kill him and retain the blade he created and keep it fromthe hands of others.
Simon was known to be untouchable by angel and demon alike but to the power of Arch-Angels in their own plane of extistance he was a mere novice. Because of thier meddling this battle came to a differant ending. Simon kept the sword he had created and banished from Heaven and Hell forever. Not by the angels but by one Simon himself looked upon as a God. The Spirit of the first Pheonix of Life and Death stripped Simon of his title as Pheonix of Death and leaving him in a mortal shell. Only upon his death to be reborn into a Pheonix once more.
