| 8/19/05-Tonight we finished last but we started last. We had a fuel ejector problem. One of the ejectors was staying open therefore flooding the cylinder. Can't run on three cylinders. We took it out and tried to clean it three or four times. We missed the heat race. Finally we got the car to run. Dave said that if anything we'll get points even if we drop out. He passed three or four cars the first four laps. We were fast! Then a caution came out. Just as they were getting to run again Dave pulled off the track. Same problem with the same ejector. |

| 8/21/05-On Sunday the Cub Scout Pack 494 had a soap box derby competition. Dave and Bill took the car for the Cubs to see.....Check out the photos..Click here |

| 9/30/05- We had a great night to finish the point race and season. We started 2ND with #71 Ryan Greth starting on the pole. We stayed in 2ND from the beginning to the end. #71 took off like a shot out of hell. He was hooked up real good. He lead the entire race with about a 10 car lead. Dave held his line and stayed ahead of the new points champion #33 Mike Rutherford. Mike could not quite get a good enough run on Dave. In the turns he would catch up to Dave and at tow points of the race showed Dave his front tire. Dave was much stronger coming out of the turns and would pull away from Mike by a car lengh. Brett Schoenly the two year in a row Points champion and presently was second in points of only 45 points behind Mike Rutherford. He came from 10 to fourth. When the race was over Dave held off the 1st place and 2ND place cars. It was a great clean race for the top 4 finishes. All of us on the team were very happy to finish 2ND. But I think that running with these three other top three point leaders has shown what we said all year. We had the car and the team and can run with the best anytime. I'm glad it's over. We finished 9Th in the points for the season. |
| 10/15/05-Nationals at Linda's gates open at 1PM. Kyle and Tammy Boltz our sponsor and the owners of the lickdale campground and store are planning to be there also. |
