Tin Railroad Herald's

found in boxes of

Post Sugar Crisp Cereal

in the mid to late 1950's


In the mid to late 1950's Post Cereal put one of these tin railroad herald's in each box of Sugar Crisp. There were 28 different ones and they were great to collect and put up on your model railroad platforms. Shown below are 20 of the 28 that were available. I have duplicates of some of them and am looking for the other ones that I don't have. At the end of this page is a DUPLICATE LIST and also a WANT LIST. These herald's were produced again in 1979 by a company called Nickel Plate Products in Illinois and sold as a set. The signs you see below are all ORIGINAL issue found in Post Sugar Crisp Cereal in the 1950's.
