Pretty much any time I have an idea that seems intriguing but has an embarrassing side to it, it ends up in Metaph. The focus is on the Meta, the way one idea can be seen from so many angles.

| Metaph was originally conceived as a way of enlivening my proposed philosophy magazine, Th'Ink. At that time I was caught up in ideas of nuclear holocaust, and how distance can be measured in loneliness, and besides I didn't have much in the way of output. But since then I have made a number of them. Pretty much any time I have an idea that seems intriguing but has an embarrassing side to it, it ends up in Metaph. The focus is on the Meta, the way one idea can be seen from so many angles. |
