Here are three stories taken from dreams. The first two happened within the space of two nights, and seemed worth recording partly for that reason.
I'd like to say that I'm less responsible for their content than with most of my writing, since they come from deep and less resistible urges.
It seems regrettable that one or both of them could be interpretted as harboring deep prejudices against African Americans. However, I can assure you that the intent, or whatever intent there was, did not involve harm, insult, or ridicule to anyone. I hope they can be admired for their virtues and not their faults.
The content of the second story is somewhat disturbing, and has only psychological value anyhow, so skip it if you don't want to hear about maggots. However, it must be emphasized that the intent is not just disgust, but an awareness of a particular state of being.
Flying by Night was probably dark-chocolate induced (I had some right before bed, and I've heard that chocolate can cause nightmares).
Anyway, I hope these are as interesting to readers as I find them to be to myself.
