FAQs
Here are some of the most Frequently Asked Questions
we are asked and their respective answers...
How tall are your Birch poles?
Can Birch poles be cut to logs for a fire place?
Most run approx. 8' longer poles are available via special order with some advance notice
Yes, we can cut birch poles of virtually any available  diameter down to logs as short as 16 inches. Most fireplaces require 18" - 20" logs
MORE TO COME SHORTLY!
What are the prices of your flower bunches?
Although we do have a handfull of flowers that run around 14$ per bunch, by far most are in the 6-8$ range with some fruit packages and Eucolyptus running 9-10$.
Do you ship?
Yes, domestically. If I can fit it in a box and feel confident it wont get destroyed in transit, I'll ship it!
Is it possible to order items you dont have in stock?
Yes, we are fortunate to have collected several unique resources and are sometimes capable of filling bizarre requests... cant hurt to ask right???
Do you provide bulk discounts?
Indeed we do. Bulk orders always recieve discounted pricing based on the overall order.
Do you guys carry Maple Leaves?/ Do you guys carry LOOSE fall leaves off the branch?
Unfortunately no, we do not have a source for preserved Maple leaves and because of the delicate nature of naturally dried fall leaves, we cannot sell them. Our fall Oak leaves always come on the branch. They can be easily removed.
Is it possible to paint the Manzanita Branches?
Yes. Although the SandBlasted Manzanita branches are best suited for painting (since they are already basically primed) they are also the most expensive among the three types available. Many choose the purchase and paint the natural Manzanita for savings sake. If painted properly using the right paint and patience, it should come out properly.
What does it cost to create/have a "grain sprial" made like in the Marth Stewart article?
We make grain spirals raning from 75$ to 125$ each (size determines cost). The smallest is approx 12-15" tall & approx 8-10 wide. The largest measure approx. 15+ inches tall and approx. 12+ inches wide. These relatively small sounding dimensional increases multiply the amount of flowers used more than you can guess. You can easily make these yourself with some patience and a steady hand. Many grains can be used... Wheats, Barely, Poppies, Oats, Rice Grass, Phalaris, Grassess, Millet, Agrotis... Some flowers may be naturally taller than others, keep this in mind when considering the final desired dimension of your design.
