Warm Reflections
These are a collection of poems, stories and sayings collected by me over the years and represent what Rose is about. They are in book form and someday hope to publish them. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did collecting them.

  • One of the greatest joys in my life is our friendship...I don't think either of us suspected, when we first met, that we would stand where we do today, sharing the close harmony of our abiding friendship. But we grew together through the days, sharing laughter and tears, thoughts and silence - all the things we are. You have always encouraged me to share myself fully - my hopes, my dreams, my secret pains and sadness that I may come to understand better in the light of your concerned understanding. I hope I have reflected back to you, if only in a small way, something of the same. No one knows what path tomorrow will find us walking; but together or apart, I know that I have found in you a lifetime friend that I have always wished for, and the years passing will never change, but only stregthen our enduring friendship.
  • Edmund O'Neill

  • In the dawning I stood on one glorious morn and when witnessed in awe a new day was borne. Like a cup over flowing and filled to the brim, joy filled my heart.

My creator, the maker of all living things. Who is by His great mercy so tenderly brings another creation reflecting His love... A friendship created and born from above.

I cannot express what my heart wants to say. As I think of the tender and wonderful way. That God's mercy reached down, and a friendship so ture was created to last from the day I met you. Toni Rolison - 1980

The world is so empty if one thinks only of mountains, rivers, and cities; but to know someone who thinks and feels with us. And who, though distant is close to us in spirit, this makes the earth for us an inhabited garden. -Goethe
    Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. . . . Take kindly the counsel of the years, Gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune But do not distress yourself with imaginings. . . Beyond a wholesome discipline, Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should be . . . it is still a beautiful world. Max Ehrmann

    This is a New Day

God has given me this day to do as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. What I do today is important, because I am trading a day in my life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever. Leaving behind something I traded. I want it to be gain , not loss. . . . . Good not evil. . . . Success, not failure. . . . In order that I should never Forget The Price I Paid For It! -Anon
