July 20 ~ Thursday
If today doesn't end soon, I will go crazy.
Later, he informed me that the reason he wanted to know was so that he could get the season tickets to the Lyric Opera for us, but wanted to make sure it wouldn't interfere with school! What a dove, what an absolute dove!!
He was in a fabulous mood last night. So sweet, loving, and just all around wonderful. I'm really looking forward to seeing him after work.
The appointment with the Advisor at VU was really helpful, I sent her an email today attempting to find out what some of the general education requirements are for degree-seeking students. The Calculus class I want to take is only being held in the mornings, and I'd like to avoid having to come into work late (even one day a week) as much as possible. Maybe later ... not now.
In the same vein, I also don't want to take a class that fulfills NEITHER the requirements for General Education nor the requirements for a Computer Science major. That would be a waste of money!
Kathy is keeping up with bills and such (kind of) she just needs to pay the phone bill(s) now. Then all will be well!
All in all, things are going smoothly, and hopefully they will continue to do so for some time to come.
In other news...I went to a *ahem* "Toy" party that Roxanne was co-hosting, and had a lot of fun. Even bought some stuff...did I say some? Maybe I should say I bought over a hundred dollars worth of stuff. *Laughing* Who'd a thunk it? Oh well. We are going back to Christie's house on the 28th for a pool party. Doesn't that sound fun? I think so. I'm dying to submerge myself in some water this summer!
Last Sunday Joseph, Peggy & I went to the Bristol Rennaisance Faire. Had a lot of fun...I got really sunburned (of course) and am looking forward to maybe going back before it's all over.
I have also found a new, wonderful comic strip online. It's called "Elf Life". I highly recommend it, it's so entertaining and well drawn. I would like to add that you should start in the archives if you do read it because it won't make sense otherwise. Everyone knows that a comic that makes no sense just isn't funny.
I hope anyone that's reading this is having a FABULOUS day! I am. If you have a few more minutes to spare, go to Starbucks In the Sky)for the sweet sweet nectar that keeps me from falling over dead of exhaustion! I've logged 7 hours of overtime in the last two days. Forgive me, I know not what I type *giggle*
