The new car drives well, and yes, I'll be careful. :)
But that's not all. 5 years ago, March of 1995, I was diagnosed of Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. 5 years later, today, I'm a healthy person, (well, with occasional flu and stuff). But look at me, my existence is a sheer example of God's almighty power, amazing grace, and unconditional love. I invite you all to celebrate with me, because I'm finally considered cured.
I waited to type this letter because I wanted this to be an Easter present to all of you. You know, I've been a believer of Christ since I was a child. I've taken alot for granted, but God's grace comes through every time. He's a God of second chances...and more. Most of you know that I'm still in a big 'situation' right now. It's a big struggle, but God reassures me time and again that He loves me no matter what. I have no doubt about that. My experience is no big deal, but God is. It's not until perhaps 6 months ago that I've finally realized in my WHOLE BEING--heart, soul, mind, that I won't have true happiness if I don't put Him first place in my life. We humans fail each other all the time, even when we try hard not to, but GOD NEVER FAILS. This is my belief and firm conviction, even in the midst of pain and tears. And now I can say out loud that I thank him for everything that He has allowed me to encounter in my life: grave illness, car accident, marriage problems...because there's a lesson in each of them. And when I look back, I can only say to Him, "Gee, thanks, I didn't know I needed that, but you did".
Life is tough. Cliche but true. But I just want you all to know that I've never felt so much peace in my life. Even though things are still hanging in the air, unresolved, I know He will carry me through. The Lord is my strength, my joy and my friend!

Finally, I'll be out of town. My friend Shirley and I are going to LA/SF from 4/21 to 5/2. Andrew and Ivy will also be there, so it's like a siblings reunion without the parents! It's Easter and Spring is here! (My favourite season). I wish you all a happy Easter and happy spring. And a special 'happy birthday' wish to Mom, Dad, Janet, Andrew, Shan Shan, Edwin and Anson...
