Formulated by Ayurvedic
physicians thousands of years ago, triphala is composed of the three
myrobolans or the " three fruits " of Ayurveda: Haritaki,
terminalia Chebula, Amalaki, Emblica Officinalis, and Bibhitaki,
Terminalia Belerica. It is considered the most effective, safest laxative
and colon tonic by most health care practitioners because it is mild,
non-habit forming and non-depleting.

Chebulic Myrobalan (Haritaki), Indian Gooseberry (Amalaki) and Belliric
