Today I went to HKU to preach with Louisa, hoping to share the gospel with some
freshmen. Finally we did share the gospel with few freshmen. What surprise me
was that there was a sec- sch junior approached me in the campus whom I almost
forgot. She said she wanna say "thank you" to me thru out these years-
we did exchange one or two letters nearly 6 or 7 yrs ago and I encouraged her
to study hard. I dont expect this random acts of kindness helped this young
lady so much!

This trip to Tokyo was decided just more than a week ago when Ada called and
initiated, I applied 2 days annual laeve and swapped a duty with a collegue
and successfully made the trip. Also I got staff stand-by airtickets from my
friend. We saved some hotel costs as we stayed in Ada's friends house.
Here is the dairy written my sec sch-mate, after we met
and she described my trip:
Some more feelings about this trip:
- being the only one who visiting Disneyland alone…the feeling was so strange…
this place was meant for fun and I went alone..how can I have joy? But I really
wanna tour around the Tokyo Disneyland…when I set up the tripod and took photos
of myself, people looked at me in strange ways…
- I couldnt finish watching the baseball match of swallow vs bayster…hiya, cuz
its so windy and Ada said she was almost sick and fly into temper when she saw
the last batter always hit foul balls…we left and just missed the last hit which
turned the score from 3:3 to 4:3…the home team won!
- The trip to Hakone is good, at least we saw the Mt Fuji! Ada's friend been
in Tokyo for a yr and have not have the luck to see that as it really depends
on the weather.
- When I was told very firmly that I could not get on the plane on 18th…I felt
so lost and did not wanna leave the airport, hoping there would be miracle…u
know when I was told that 9 ppl got fake passports and suddenly got 6 standby
vacancies, my heart beated so fast as I thought maybe God was making something
impossible to be possible…anyhow, the moments I took my luggage back and got
on the Keisi line back to Shijuku…I will never forget…I waited outside Ada's
friend's house for 1 hr for Ada to come back…
I had to be back to HK on 18th as there was a baseball match on 19th which I didnot wanna miss. Also I had to work on 20th. Guess what happened?
That extra-2 days are great, as things were sorted
out and that I could travel to more places in Tokyo as well as I bought a home-run
trainer for just 1000 Yen in Odaiba.
my duty on 20th was cancelled and my boss treated it as I applied another day of Anual leave.
an email from a baseball teammate:
" My dear teammate,
Your news was really frustrating yesterday, however, how lucky we are! The match
is cancelled for the bad weather!!!! "
