2/11/05 First Time
Today I put in the upper endoscopy into a patient's gut...the first time in my life... I got lost completely and needs the other doctor helped me to advance the scope... feel like an idiot.

HKCP conferral ceremony and annual dinner. I found that I am not in the list of the new members and realized that my application has not been approved yet. What a disappointing news.

13/11/05 New era of Fortissimo
Era of FM without Table. She resigned in Nov after my hot discussion on the matter of missing monthly fees by some teammates yet kept collecting fees from others without setting a limit for the team reserve.
We played vs Hato. 8:12, big improvement.

27/11/05 Friendship therapy
I am a bit occupied by my busy baseball training [ 4 times a week] plus my on call duties...I am panting for time to relax...I hardly have time to rest and think of what happened to me in the past few months. Not until a friend reminded me, then I realised I had been mal-treating my friends.
I think of a verse from "friendship therapy"
"Allow yourself to be loved by your friend. You can give only what you have received, when your friend knocks on the door of your heart with love, put out the welcome mat of your longing-to-be loved self."

29/11/05 So long
I will be rotating to another new ward - the general medicine + Gasteroenterology team in Dec. The time in renal unit flies...5 months passed and it's just like yesterday. I made a couple of good friends with the staff there. Perhaps this is why the time files...
