| (The scene switches to Drakken chasing SSS up to a ledge. SSS runs up to the edge and sees the sheer drop. Drakken leaps up to confront him at the cliff-like edge. SSS is very apprehensive, seeing he is cornered and at Drakken's mercy.) Drakken: (Quietly, severely) Murderer. SSS: Drakken, Drakken. Please. Please have mercy. I beg you. Drakken: You don't deserve to live. SSS: But, Drakken, I am... ah... (unsure of his tactic) an ally. It's the others (regaining composure) who are the real enemy. It was their fault, it was their idea! (Adrenna-Lynn and Jackie are in the background. They overhear and back away growling at SSS's betrayal.) Drakken: Why should I believe you? Everything you ever told anyone was a lie. SSS: What are you going to do? You wouldn't kill me? (ingratiating grin) Drakken: No, SSS. I'm not like you. SSS: (Greatly relieved) Oh, Drakken, thank you. You are truly noble. You would have made a great king. I'll make it up to you, I promise. How can I, ah, prove myself to you? Tell me; I mean, anything. Drakken: (Gravely, with deep anger) Run. Run away, Sr. And never return. SSS: Yes. Of course. As you wish... (looking down and seeing a pile of hot coals) ...your Majesty! (SSS swipes the coals into Drakken's face. With a cry of surprise and pain, Drakken paws the coals away as SSS leaps and attacks.) (There is a fight in slow motion. Both SSS and Drakken land heavy blows. Drakken gets knocked on his back. SSS leaps through the flames at him. Drakken gathers courage and uses SSS's momentum in a "throw" similar to Shego's fighting tactics to send him flying over the edge. SSS tumbles to the bottom. He weakly gets up. He sees Jackie, Adrenna-Lynn, and a goon approaching and smiles. The goon has a very angry look on his face.) SSS: Ahh, my friends. Adrenna-Lynn: Frie-he-hends? I thought he said we were the enemy! Jackie: Yeah, that's what I heard. Jackie and Adrenna-Lynn: You? Goon: (Laughs evilly) SSS: (Very nervous) No. L-L-L-Le-Le-Le-Le-Let me explain. No. You don't understand. No! I didn't mean for... No, No! Look, I m sorry I called you... No! NOO! (The camera moves away and we can only see the shadows as the horde of villains closes on and kicks SSS out of Middleton.) |
