Billboard Advertising Concept:

Each major city within the United States has its own special charm and uniqueness such as:

San Antonio, Texas has its Riverwalk...

New Orleans, LA has its French Quarter...

St. Louis, MO has its Arch...

New York City, NY is filled with fabulous landmarks

Why not showcase this uniqueness by using local talent?

A Nationwide Art Contest could be run in each major U.S. city in which a Daimler-Chrysler Billboard is to be placed. The DC Corporation could ask for the best artists of each city to submit their own drawings and concepts for a billboard design which would highlight that

city’s uniqueness.

Each artist could submit his or her own drawings and concepts

to the National Headquarters Office.

Winners of each contest would have their drawing concepts placed into the DC Billboard Design and showcased in their particular city...with the Local Artist’s Name published in nationwide print advertisements for DC. Each winner could also receive some sort of a prize such as

an all expenses paid trip for two people to tour Germany for one week and meet with the

German DC headquarters staff as well.

This type of art contest would bring out the creative people in each major city.

DC Corporation could maintain a record of their names for future creative endeavors as well as a potential customer base. Each City would have a Billboard Advertising (DC) products designed specifically by their own ‘hometown’ artist that would generate local pride, national attention, and a great deal of local and national publicity for both the artist and

Daimler-Chrysler Corporation.
