HOME GIGS BANDS RELEASES MP3s ABOUT US GALLERY CONTACT LINKS

Due to circumstances out of our control, the Filaments gig has been postoned till further notice. There will be no "Punk In Drublic" night in August. The next one will be on September 6th, "Instant Agony" and "The Cox" will be playing as well as another band to be confirmed soon. We're gutted to have to do this, sorry to everyone that was looking forward to seeing them.

If its any constilation, then "Apone" are playing in The Cresent in Rhyl on August 9th (plus "The Cox"). If you need directions on how to get there then go to the rhyl train station and get a taxi (an ask to go to the cresent), the taxi should charge about 1.50 cos its not far at all). Its 3 pound to get in lads, wup-way!
LATEST NEWS - July 26th, 2003
If the kids are united, they will never be divided! Fuck me, what a mad night! ok, the reason why Hektor didnt play is because the bassist, Matt, trapped a nerve in his hand apparently. This is why Kneejerk stepped in last minute. We were brickin it abit when none of the bands had turned up and it was about half 7 but finally stuntface turned up and later on the dangerfields (as you'll know if you were there). then a big fat royal rumble of a fight didnt help either. hopefully those nobheads that kicked off learnt their lesson, and wont be coming back. anyone going to these nights purely to cause trouble is not welcome, so if you've got it in mind dont bother showing up.

anyway, moving on, THE NEXT PUNK IN DRUBLIC NIGHT: Saturday September 6th, "Instant Agony" and "The Cox" and another band to be confirmed. "Crazy Nuance" were planning on playing too but university and jobs got in the way (they're from italy). So thats Sep 6th at The Dudley Arms, Rhyl.

Dont forget to go to the Penrhyn Old Hall in Llandudno TONIGHT, for "3CR", "The Strap-ons", "One Man Stand", "The Hookers" and "The Dangerfields". If you've never been to a D&B night before then we highly recommend you go cos they always put on great bands there, only for 4 quid too. So that should be a gooden.

Again, for info on loads of other punk gigs around north wales and the north west in general check out the gigs page. If you want us to put your gig on there just email us, not a problem.

"Six Year Hangover" have officially completed their first ep on pig town records. It has 5 songs on it and the quality is a bit of a break-through as far as D.I.Y recording goes! Also, if you buy it from them its 3.50 and you get a free copy of Dave Pierce's acoustic CD. If you buy it from us you only get the 6YH cd but its 3. Whatever, I dont give a crap.

!Coming Soon! Everybody's Enemy (Japanese Hardcore Punk Rock) are in the final stages of recording a new 12 (or more) track CD to be released on Pig Town. This will probably be available by mid August or so.
The Cox will be recording their first full length album once Dave (the drummer) has bought a decent kit (that sounds good at least). This will be quite soon as he's just "conformed to society" (got a full time job). The CD will probably be available by September. We're still trying to sort out a pub tour of the uk in september (despite both Instant Agony & Crazy Nuance pulling out). The dates currently available are September 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 14th. If you're a promotor and would like to help us please get in touch as soon as you can and we'll be well up for playing. cheers

Thats it I think for now. Thanks to everyone that showed up last night, cheers to kneejerk for stepping in last minute and cheers to stuntface and the dangerfields for turning up!! Rhyl isnt always like this (honest)!!! lookin forward to seein everyone again on august 8th! All at Pig Town Records
