when i first heard this album, i was impressed, very impressed. the opening track, think for yourself, has one hell of a busty riff, and ades vocals sound very good, and very british. nice. second track, home and away, opens with mcfly showing off his ability as a bass player, matt adds to the track with his hard hitting drumming like only he and his all powerful man-boobs(:p) can do. fires burning, the single in waiting, is, in my opinion, p.g. at their musical best, great riff, meaningful lyrics, bass parts a plenty, and again, matts drumming. live show closer timmy is about people who try to force their unwanted veiws upon you, but it isnt aimed at a certain group of people inparticular. the reworked version of differnt dream and the wonderful come out beefier than the econ days. the album close's with we swear to much, a track recorded when the first 8 songs were completed ahead of schedual i think. anyway, to wrap up my peice of crap, great album, great guys, and this album should firmly plant them in the name of british punk, under the watchful eye of hugh.....maybe.
