Theres a lot of jive talk from fans of musicians when their favorites become big and well-known to the public. KMFDMs Sascha K sign with Universal Records label to easier distribute albums over the world. Republic/Universal Records distribute their albums world wide. Would you rather sign conflicting contracts with record labels all over the world, or just stick to one that puts all of that multi-label trouble behind. Don't worry KMFDM fans. Industrial revolutions will never be radio famous.
Insane clown posse is another band where fans will feel alienated by their releases and radio play. Violent J, one half of Insane Clown Posses' gross humor and Shaggy 2 Dope, other half of Insane Clown Posses' vile violent lyrics aren't a good combination. Especially if people all over the world don't like you anyway. Juggalos and Juggalettes, male and female fans of Insane Clown Posses record label Psychopathic Records, are loyal to the Insane Clown Posse. Anti-MTV and Anti-Radio songs and lyrics have been made by the Insane Clown Posse and now they have radio play on WRIF, requested on KROQ, guests on Love Line and Howard Stern, music videos featuring on major music video television stations, and featured on many wrestling promotions including the WWF, WCW, ECW, ROH, XPW, and even Backyard Wrestling organizations. Comparing apples to oranges when it comes to musicians isn't right. Its a big difference if ICP started to tour in arenas all over the World and chilled with Carson Daily. I say this to all ninjalos; Don't be a player hater. I agree that when a music group gets bigger, there are a lot of annoying obsessive people that act like big fans. Fourteen year old girls claiming they are Violent J's cousin, people that brag about rubbing En Esch's bald head, and just about anyone else that ride on an entertainers coattails can sometimes take away a little bit of the fun. But as long as you know that you're real with yourself and with other fans, that's all that matters. Only morally rich people will agree to that. All of the others are just these toys that will not be loyal and will try to come off as big fans. Many kids go through Marilyn Manson syndrome as do many adults, but remember, its only a syndrome and they usually get over their sickness. |
