The Caribbean Student Association (CSA) was founded at Nova Southeastern University by three homesick freshmen.  While sitting in front of Goodwin dorms, reminiscing about the good food, friends, and fun they left behind, they decided to put their heads together and charter a club at Nova that would unify Caribbean students like themselves. October 2000, NSU CSA was formed.

CSA originally started with 8 members including the e-board.  For the next year the club struggled to maintain its presence around campus. Within a year, through hard work and dedication, 8 members turned into 45 members strong.

Today, CSA continues to promote cultural awareness around campus. Its members are expected to represent thier countries to the highest respect and educate others about their many different cultures.
