Warm Cranberry Cider


2 quarts apple cider
2 quarts cranberry juice drink
1 3-inch cinnamon stick
6 pepper corns
3 whole cloves
3 whole allspice
2 tsp vanilla

Roll the cinnamon stick, pepper, allspice and cloves up in cheese cloth and tie with butchers twine
Place the juices, vanilla and spices in a six-quart stockpot and bring to a boil; turn off heat and let the spices steep 10 to 15 minutes.  Serve warm or hot. Makes 1 gallon.
