Spiced Cranberry Sauce 1 pkg (12 ounces) cranberries 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 1 cinnamon stick about 3 inches long 1/2 tsp orange peel 1/2 tsp vanilla Place all ingredients except vanilla in large saucepan. Stir to combine. Heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes or until very thick, stirring occasionally. Cool to room temperature. Remove cinnamon stick and stir in vanilla. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. |
