Fruit and Pudding Crisp

2 to 3 cups drained,canned fruit (peaches,pears,apples,apricots)
1/4 cup syrup from fruit
1 Tbls dry vanilla pudding and pie filling mix
1/4  cup brown sugar

Combine above ingredients in ungreased 8-inch square dish. Set aside.

2/3  cup flour
1/2  cup quick cooking oats
1/2  cup chopped nuts
1/4  cup sugar
1/2  tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 pkg.  (4 serving size) dry cook-n-serve vanilla pudding and pie filling mix, minus 1 Tbls
1/2  cup melted butter

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off. Combine ingredients in large bowl until well blended and crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm and top with whipped cream or ice cream.
