Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking soda 2 eggs 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup butter or marg. 12 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Mix flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. Beat butter, sugars vanilla and eggs till light and fluffy. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts and chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 6 dozen. |
