Two Hour Rolls
Two Hour Rolls
1/2 cup water (slightly warm)
2 eggs, well beaten
4 Tbls sugar
1 1/3 cups scalded milk (cooled)
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 1/2 cups flour
2 yeast cakes
Mix all dry ingredients together and mix all liquid ingredients together. Combine and stir with a spoon until blended. Let rise 1 hour. Roll out and cut into round shape. Dip in butter. Let rise 1 hour and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
