Mr. President, Victor Miller
I started my music education in fifth grade with the clarinet and began to have the desire to play all instruments. In sixth grade I played the trumpet for my middle school band and continued through the seventh grade. When I was in eigth grade I was asked to march with the high school band and began to play: french horn, baritone, and euphonium. At the end of my eigth grade year the band director ask me to audition for drum major, so I began lessons and was the high school drum major. I successfully graduated high school and wanted to continue my love of music so I began drum corps. I marched with Scenic City Drum and Bugle Corps and I am currently the Drum Major for Presidents Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2001-02 season. I have taught many high school students better conducting skills and will continue to teach well into my life. Outside of music, I am a small business owner in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I own Miller Managements, which services people with any projects and household activities, such as: interior cleaning, window washing, and errand running. I recently became an Independant Contractor for Phoenix USA and founder of the Drum Major Association, which is an International association for drum majors, directors, members, alumni, and music lovers alike. -Victor Miller
