I wanted to add a few books for those of you out there who enjoy reading. These are books i have enjoyed, including ones i think have an important message or make you think about things.

Stupid White Men, by Michael Moore: Hands down the best non fiction book I have read in a long while. Whether he is taking on big business, the democrat republicans (they are really one party), chauvinistic men, racists or homophobes, Michael Moore makes biting insights blended with great humor. Well researched and well thought out, this book is an amazing and needed addition to the sphere of political writing.

Downsize This!, by Michael Moore: Michael Moore's first book, this book takes on all the targets in his second book, but focuses more on corporate crime and how average citizens can start to get some of their working rights back. Whether it's a call to reform the state of unions, or making sure the CEO's aren't taking too much and not giving back enough back, Moore offers sharp insights and his trademark humor to make a wonderful and thought provoking read. (Wow I sound like a book reviewer).

Peace Is Every Step, by Thich Nhat Hanh:Based on his Zen training and basic Buddhist teachings, Thich Nhat Hanh teaches us ways that we can be happier, learn to handle our anger, and enjoy the present moment.

The Belgariad & Mallorean Series, by David & Leigh Eddings: A great series of novels, these books follow the journies of Garion, his Aunt Pol, Belgarath and assorted other companions. One of Eddings' strong points is his character development, and by the end of the first book, you want to learn more about the characters and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

The Xanth Series, by Piers Anthony: Starting with "A Spell For Chameleon," Piers Anthony started an AMAZING series of books that both amuse and point out the foils and stupidty of human culture and human society.

Traveling Mercies, by Anne Lamott: One of the best testaments to the faith of a neuortic, uncertain person I know. One of the books that made me realize it's ok to be myself and also believe in Christianity. Hilarious, moving, compassionate, full of love and overall an amazing book. Five stars! 1
