The plants are in alphabetical order by their most common names. The information on this page is not all my work, and I don't claim it to be! I gathered information from many sources and combined it. Also, this is not accurate medical advice, do not consider it to be.
- Acacia
- An African tree that has clusters of yellow and white flowers. It yeilds gum. Leaves and bark of this tree can be used to inspire love, ward off evil, attract evil, and increase phsycic powers. It is commonly used during Lammas Sabbat.
- Aconite (Wolfsbane, Monkshood)
- This plant is highly poisonous and no parts of it should be eaten. Worn as an amulet it protects the wearer from vampires and werewolves. The seeds are used to gain powers of invisibility.
- Adder's Tounge (Dogtooth Violet)
- This flower is sacred to serpent goddesses. This herb is used in healing magick, divination, dream magick and lunar magick.
- African Violet
- This herb can be worn as an amulet for protection. It also helps increase spirituality in the home. The African Violet is often burned as incense during the Spring Equinox Sabbat.
- Agrimony
- Agrimony acn be used for many types of spells. It is in general used to ward off negativity, evil entities and poison. Supposedly (as was thought in anchient times) if some of this plant was placed under a man's head he would fall into a deep trance.
- Ague
- Ague Root has been used as an amulet to protect against evil.
- Catnip
- Catnip is well known as a plants that cats love and for that reason it is often used in any kind of cat magic. Catnip helps strengthen pyschic ties between cats and thier owners(like anyone can own a cat). Catnip is also used in herbal mixes for love, happiness and peace.
- Cedar
- Cedar bark and leaves are commonly used for Healing and Purification spells. Cedar leaves and incense are also used to gain money. Breathing Cedar smoke can prevent bad dreams and promote spirituality. The scent of Cedar also causes calmness.
- Milkweed
- A large plant that has oval leaves and bunches of pinkish flowers. It is commonly known for it's attractiveness to Monarch butterflies.
- Mimosa
- A flowering tree with pink flowers and feathery fern-like leaves. It has a strong scent and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
- Mint
- Mint is a small plant with purple and white flowers that is very aromic. Mint plants have toothed leaves and square stems. Mint is used to soothe headaches. There are many varieties of mint, the most common include Pennyroyal, Peppermint, and Spearmint.
- Ragwort
- Believe it or not this nuisance plant during alergy season is a actually useful. It can be used as a charm to ward off evil spirits. Ragwort is also associated with faries and is nikcnamed "faries' horse.
- Rose
- Roses are beautiful plants with large flowers that come in whites, reds, oranges and pinks. Roses have long been used as signs of love so it's no surprise that they are used in love magick. Roses are also thought to be aphrodisiacs. Roses are used in many Sabbats, including Yule (as tree decorations), Spring Equinox, and Autumn Equinox.

Rosemary is a very all-purpose herb. Rosemary is a protection herb for homes and rooms. Rosemary is also a very strong healing herb. When placed under the pillow Rosemary can prevent bad dreams and restlessness. It is said to beable to induce sleep. Rosemary can also be used in love spells and to promote lust. Rosemary is one of many flowers that can attact faries. Rosemary is often used in food as a flavoring to meats, salads and soups.
- Rowan (Witchbane, Witchen, Witchwood)
- Rowan is a very magickal tree and every part of it can be used in spells. Rowan wood is often used to make wands and divining rods. Amulets of Rowan leaves and berries help promote psychic power and healing magick. Rowan is also used in goodluck spells.
- Rue
- There are many different types of Rue; Wild Rue, and Meadow Rue to name some. Rue plants have rounded leaves and small purple flowers.Rue is used in healing magick to prevent illness and speed recovery from sickness.
- Saffron

Saffron is commonly used in love magick, and healing spells. Saffron is also used to control the weather, mainly the wind. By drinking a potion of Saffron supposedly someone could gain the power of second sight.
- Sage

Sage is a garden plant with an interesting smell and gray/green leaves. Sage can be used in protection spells, healing spells and any spell to gain prosperity. Sage can also be used in food, as it's scent and taste lend flavor to amny types of dishes.
- Saint John's Wort
- St. John's Wort is mostly used for healing magick. St. John's Wort is called by this name because it is gathered on Saint John's Eve to gain protection from evil spirits. St. John's Wort is also called Mugwort. St. John's Wort is also used during the Summer Solstice Sabbat. St. John's Wort is used alot in divination; both for care of crystals and as a tea to aid divination.
- Solomon's Seal

This plant is named for the Star of Solomon (six pointed star) for which the petals of the flower closely resemble. Solomon's Seal is used in protection magick and to exorcise spirits. The root can be used to ward off negative influences and demons.
- Valerian

Valerian is a plant with veathery leaves and white or pink flowers. Valerian is commonly used as a sedative and can be put in teas to promote calmness. It can also be used in protection magick, both for a person and for homes.
- Witch Hazel
- The name of this plant shows it's connection to magick and Witchcraft. Witch Hazel can be used as a divining rod to locate treasure or water. Witch Hazel is also used in love spells and spells to ward off evil.
- Wormwood

Wormwood is used in spells that involve conjuring spirits, like seances. Wormwood is also used to prevent bewitchment and to counteract poison. Wormwood also makes psychic powers stronger.
- Yarrow
- Yarrow is a wild plant that is often considered a garden plant as well. Yarrow has feathery leaves and yellow or white flowers. Yarrow is often used in magick as a protection from evil and negativity. Yarrow can be used in love divinations and is often associated with increasing psychic powers.
