Integrity

When we think of Integrity we most often think of speaking the truth, or keeping one’s commitments.  (The concept of Truth is a tempting rabbit hole to charge down…)

While these are certainly the bedrocks of Integrity, I believe this Virtue extends far beyond these surface definitions into the spiritual and moral realms.

Spirtually Integrity involves being true to one’s Gods and Goddesses, the Land and one’s Ancestors.  In this sense it is closely related to the other Virtues of Piety and Courage.

Moral Integrity (along with Moral Courage) involves being the champion of Truth even at great loss.

Moral Integrity facilitates Right Action and enables us to be Purposeful Beings.

In the final analysis, possessing Integrity means being true in all things to oneself, one’s Ancestors and one’s Gods and Goddesses.
