10 minutes in the morning.  Breath counting 1-10 and repeat.  I never realized how crowded my mind was.  I just tried to let the thoughts pass and not dwell on them.

10 minutes outside under an apple tree in the park near where I live.  Breath counting.  Never thought 10 minutes could seem so long.  Paying attention to my thoughts they seem to come not only as speech in my head, but as images.

10 minutes breath counting.  Still lots of noise, but it seems to be getting a bit easier not to dwell on the thoughts and images.  Although I wonder if I should begin trying visual meditation?  After I have progressed a bit I may.

10 minutes breath counting.  I’ve noticed that my heart rate seems to drop significantly, and I am nearly reaching a state that is hard to describe.  Almost like a trance, but I’m fully aware.  I was a little dizzy when I opened my eyes today.
