Greetings, reader!

If you are reading this, then you are most likely interested in joining 
us. Excellent choice! If you have just become a novice, then the very   
first thing to do is to type 'GNTON' and then 'GNT Hello! I've just     
joined the Druids!'                                                     

The next thing you need to know are the Requirements for being Promoted 
to an apprentice with us. These are as follows:                         

1.) You must be at least Level 15

2.) You need to have a health vial, a mending vial, 5 myrrh, 5          
goldenseal and 5 bloodroot, a shield tattoo, a boar tattoo and a cloak  
tattoo. It is also highly recommended that you have a moss tattoo as    
well.                                                                   

3.) You must learn up to Jackdaw in Metamorphosis and Return in Groves  
before any other learning. You must also spent 15 lessons on fitness.

4.) You may imprint a grove, bearing in mind that you may NOT imprint   
within a city, a garden location, or any temple, nor in Darkenwood.     

5.) You must wait 7 (Achaean) months after becoming a novice before you 
may be interviewed. (See HELP CALENDAR)                                 

6.) You must have a pocketbelt and a pack, and be familiar with their   
use.                                                                    

7.) You must write in your Journal five paths, each of which must be    
from Minia, where Vellis dwells. One to your grove, One to the Guild    
House, one to a city of your choice (Either Shallam, Ashtan, Hashan or  
Cyrene), one to Seasone, near Thera, and one to the village of Eleusis  
within the Eastern Ithmia.                                              

8.) You must have a description, reasonable and preferable at least     
three lines, and also a rough background idea, as everything within     
Achaea is In Character, and you must act accordingly.                   

9.) You must NOT participate in any spars outside of the Arenas, as this
can cause severe problems. This is not to say you may not defend        
yourself if attacked, but this is unlikely as the entirety of Achaea    
frowns upon those who attack new beings. Neither may you attack any city
mobiles, save for rats or thugs (though they are likely much stronger   
than a novice anyway) for similar reasons.                              

10.) You must NOT be the member of any city. If you joined one during   
the Tour, please leave it now by typing QUIT CITY                       

11.) You would be best not lapsing into Out Of Character (OOC). Remain  
IC publicly at all times.                                               

12.) You must pass an interview, with one of the Aides or the Sylvan    
Oak.                                                                    

This being said, welcome to the Druids! If you have any queries,        
comments or concerns then use the command 'GNT text' to tell us about it
over the guild novice channel. Remember, the GNT channel is here for    
novices specifically, and asking questions is how you learn, so don't   
stay quiet, there will almost always be someone to help you! Once you   
are ready for interview, having met all the requirements, you may       
request an interview with the Sylvan Oak, Deonymus, or one of the Aides.
However, sometimes we all do become very busy, so if the person you     
request an interview from says they cannot, please assume they will be  
busy for the rest of that Achaean month, unless they say otherwise, and 
try someone else. Those present who can promote you are viewable on     
'HELP DRUIDS' under Aides to the Sylvan Oak.
