Today's Top Life Stories

Jhonen C. Vasquez and Slave Labor graphics are being sued by James Marting, a 31-year old business man who says his son killed himself because of their comic, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.

It comes under suit after Marting's son was found lying in a pool of his own fecal matter with a copy of one of the comics in his hand and a note that stated, "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is God. I must kill myself to be one with him. Please forgive me."

Vasquez has stated his comics had nothing to do with the suicide, but is willing to put the comics "on hold or forever" if needed to resolve this.

In other entertainment news. Barry O'Brian, screenwriter of Kangaroo Jack and the upcoming Where's Waldo movie, was arrested once again after offering sex to a minor. This comes after the recent drug related problems he has encountered where he stated, "I was set up. Touchstone set me up. They didn't like my work. They f----- me." Earlier this week, Where's Waldo? was picked up by Lions Gates Films to be released in 2008. The film, which features robots, musical numbers, twenty-plus minutes of no camera movement, and some of the most over the top action sequences was dropped by Touchstone after O'Brian's drug charges. Jeff Goldblum has officially signed on to play Waldo with Brent Spiner playing the evil villian, Dr. Iraqi Terrorist. Look for the trailer sometime in June.
