The kernel of an operating system is virtually the heart of the operating system. It is easy to upgrade kernel in fedora. It can be seemlessly done using Yum the upgrade tool that comes with fedora. If you want a nice GUI go for yumex. You can view a tutorial on how to install yumex click here.
