About Me... |

| I am a small-time doc trying to make it big. A pretty straight-forward person, I strictly believe that honesty is the best policy. I do not usually dream, instead I keep a vision. I do a lot of soul-searching in my spare time. I like trekking in the Himalayas, good eyesight, introspection, torrential rain that pours down quickly, and reading a lot. Traveling to mystical lands is a passion. Admittedly though, I heard someone say that the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. In near future, I intend to undertake the Everest base-camp trek. A trip to Zanskar Valley would be equally satiating. Among all the famous places around the globe, that I have been privileged to explore so far, Hong Kong has been the most exotic one. I wish to be a globetrotter someday. For computers, my love is uncompromising. In music, I prefer soft music, rock or pop. Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, INXS (Michael Hutchence was really close to my heart --- even sent condolence message when he died.), U2, Tom Petty, Robert Palmer, Natalie Merchant, Shaan, Silk Route, Lucky Ali, Chris Isaak, Kenny Rogers, Celine Dion, Shania Twain & Phil Collins are a few of my favorites. Songs by Gulzar, I adore. I like listening to 'Mera Kuch Samaan' by Asha Bhosle and 'Tere Bin' by Rabbi Shergill (Wonderful lyrics, great voice!). One of my favorite movies is Australian Smash Hit 'Muriel's Wedding'. I merit James Cameron and Manoj Nelliyattu (Night) Shyamalan as two gifted and amazing directors. My favorite book is 'Kane and Abel' by Jeffrey Archer. A special mention to this incredible phenomenon called 'Ally McBeal'. Excellent watch on 'Star World' these days, what with its upscale mix of savvy humor and hot-topic legal drama. But don't watch if you don't want your dreams, illusions, thoughts, and realities assaulted. She'll turn you and them topsy-turvy! I dislike xenophobia and environment abuse. |
