| Who is this big brown monster? He is Domo-Kun, Japanese superstar. Domo-Kun is the star of his television show on the Japanese channel BS-2. He is very popular in Japan and it is said that 90% of all Japanese school children recognize Domo-Kun. |
| Domo-Kun was born from an egg that rolled down into the cave of an old rabbit named Usajii. It was here that Domo-Kun was introduced to television, something which he has loved ever since. Domo now lives in the cave with Usajii and spends his time watching television and drinking tea. |
| Domo-Kun spends his time with his father figure Usajii, the young and trendy weasel girl Ta-chan, and the bats hanging from Usajii's cave's ceiling Shinobu and Morio. He loves to listen to his favorite band Guitar Wolf and is noted for breaking wind when he is nervous. |
