Welcome to the Drothean Realm
The Drothean Champion enters the Combat Arena, his head held high as he moves silently towards the large circle of the room, each muscle in his body flexes with each step he takes. Before stepping into the ring, he begins to concentrate, his mouth opens words begin to escape past his lips, unknown to any but the ancient ones..... His blood begins to boil through his veins as the massive power surge moves through him. He drops to one knee as it overcomes him. When the Ancient Beast finally takes hold of him, his body begins to change. His muscles tighten, his skin becomes blackened with the consistency of dragon like scales, forming an unpenetratable toughness to it so that he may ward off any blows that may come his way. His hands become large taloned claws, the movable fingers strong enough to crack bone into tiny shards, his feet become similar to his hands but form a strong base to which he can stand upon. His head transforms into a gaping maw with several rows of razor sharp teeth, able to shred any opponent with quick snapping jaws. His body elongates, stretching to a height of fifteen feet, he now rises towering over his opponent. The final phase begins as a tail no less than six feet in length begins to protrude from his back, on the end are three sharp thorns. They too are razor sharp with the ability to gouge through his opponents flesh, to lift in the air, for his mouth to devour if need be. During this transformation the Champion can be heard screaming out in pain, pain of the honorable titan who defends and protects his family and home. Such a small cost for this duty that he takes upon himself so that all may continue to live in the comfort of his willingness to die in their sted. He steps into the ring now in all og his glory, the Drothean Champion has arrived... (thank you Lord Acidic for your inspiring portrayal of O/our Champion)
Droth are large beings who are part dragon, part gryphon and part mammal. They range in height from about 12' to 20' tall and favor large forests and mountain slopes as their regions of habitat. These ancient, immortal creatures are the embodiment of the noblest characteristics of all races, and have quietly lent their guidance and wisdom throughout the ages to those beings who havechosen to embrace the qualities of Honor, Integrity, Dignaty and a Value of Life and principles along their chosen path. Like these noble creatures, a Drothean Home embraces those same qualities and characteristics. Our Lords and Ladies, Masters and Mistresses are Nobles of honor and Integrity. Our slaves/subs display am air of grace, dignaty and utmost respect.

Welcome to the realm of Drothean chat. In the passages that follow, W/we will provide a detailed and comprehensive outline of the Drothean system that Y/you may have a clear and concise understanding of what it means to be Drothean. Enjoy!
~Nobility~ "Nobles" is a term the encompasses all those that would be considered "nobility". Lords/Ladies, Masters/Mistresses, those whose stature is that of a Dom/Domme. ~The Heirarchy~ Viscount: The Viscount is the Ruler/Owner of the Home. His word is absolute law, and He has the final say in all matters great and small. NOTE: The Ruling Title is up to the Owner of each Drothean Home. 'Viscount' is listed here as the standard example. Duke, COunt, Earl, etc. are among a number of titles a Drothean Ruler might choose for Himself. Viscountess: This title is reserved only for that special Lady who is fortunate enough to be betrothed (FC'ed) to the Viscount. The Viscountess rules beside the Viscount, taking an active role in the governing of the Home, enforcing its policies, and making sure the wishes of the Viscount are met. She is also in charge of overseeing slave/sub training, testingslaves/subs when they are ready for advancement - along with any Training Aid Shr may appoint to assist Her with the testing. Silver Knight: Second in command of a Drothean Home, the Silver Knight holds authority equal to the Viscountess. The Silver Knight is in charge of the Home in the Viscount's absence, and He/She often works closely with the Viscountess in dealing with and deciding Home issues. The Silver Knight is the enforcer of Home policies. It is His/Her duty to make sure the wishes of the Viscount are carried out, and that all within the Home is 'as it should be'. NOTE: In the absence of both the Viscount and Silver Knight, the Viscountess is in charge of the Home, followed by the desending order of the Hierarchy. Knight: Third in command of a Drothean Home, the Knight is aid to both Viscountess and Silver Knight, assisting both in the enforcement of Home policies. His/Her duties also include the settling of any issues that may arise in the Home. He/She will often work closely with Master of Arms, sorting through issues at hand, deciding which need to go no further than Him/Her, and which need to be addressed by the Viscountess or Silver Knight. Master of Arms: Fourth in command of a Drothean Home, the Master of Arms is aid to the Knight and often works with Him/Her. The Master of Arms deals directly with Home issues, listening to F/family members and trying to bring about suitable resolutions. Home policies are the bible for the Master of Arms, and any issues that cannot be resolved with the Master of Arms are presented to the Knight for consideration. Champion: The Champion of a Drothean Home is not part of the ruling class for He/She exists outside the hierarchy as a defender to A/all. The Champion's sole duty is to protect and fight when needed. He/She upholds the Honor of the Home at all times and is never to use the Ancient gift for personal gain. The Champion is the mortal embodiment of all that the noble creature is and strives to keep the creature in the pride a Droth deserves.

~Chain of Command~ The Chain of COmmand exists that the Home may function in an orderly manner, and is to be strictly adhered to - without exception. For Nobles: Any problems, issues, ideas or suggestions are to be presented to the Master of Arms. If the Master of Arms does not have the authority to implement the suggestion or idea, or is unable to resolve the issue or problem, He/She will present it to the Knight. The issue will proceed along the Chain of Command until it can be appropriatley dealt with. The only exceptions in following the Chain of Command is in the absence of one or more of the existing heirarchy. In that instance, the next person in the Chain of Command is to be consulted. The Viscount is never to be consulted directly, unless it is an extreme emergency. For Slaves and Submissives: All slaves and submissives are to take any problems, ideas or concerns they may have to the first girl/boy first. If the first girl/boy is unable to resolve the issue, he/she will consult the Viscountess. If it is an issue regarding another Noble, Home, or visitor, the slave or submissive will first bring it to his or her Owner. If the slave or submissives Owner cannot find a resolution, then the issue is to be taken to the Master of Arms. In the event that a slave or submissives is not presently owned, the issue is taken directly to the Master of Arms.
