LOCH LOMOND      Old Scotish Song

Chorus:  O y'ell tak' the high road and I'll tak' the low road,
And I'll be in Scotland afore ye.
But me and my true love well never meet again,
On the bonnie bonnie banks o'
LOCH LOMOND

By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes,
Where the sun shines bright on
LOCH LOMOND
Where me and my true love were ever wont to gae,
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o'
LOCH LOMOND

' Twas there that was parted in yon shady glen,
On the steep, steep side o' Ben Lomond.
Where in deep purple hue, the hieland hills we view,
And the moon comin' out in the gloamin'.

The wee birdies sind and the wild flowers spring,
And in sunshine the waters are sleeping:
But the broken heart, it kens nae second spring again,
Tho' the waefu' may cease from their greetings.
DARK DUBLIN           By: Rising McVeays

Running through a string of light
Waiting around for a fight
Wasting my time in here
I know i got to get there
Falling circles all around
you know i am the king of the town
But on the way to Dublin it gets in shape,
for the new times i really hate!

Chorus:
In Dublin in Dublin we have another round!
for the darkest nights! and the bloody fights!?
we are the kings of the town!
but when the wind blows high! Well fight untill we die!
So quit screwing around and never give up then go have another round!.....

When the irish grounds are made of stone
and when the moon falls and gets so cold
But on the way to Dublin it gets in shape,
for the new times i really hate!
ROCKY ROAD TO DUBLIN   Irish Pub Song

In the merry month of June from my home i started, left the girls in Tuam
so sad and broken harted, saluted father dear, kissed me darling, mother drank a pint of beer my grief and tears to smother.  Then off to the reap of corn, leave where i was born, cut a stout black thorn, to vanish ghosts and goblins; bought a pair of brogues rattling over the bogs, frightning all the dogs, on the Rocky Road to Dublin.
One, Two, Three, Four, Five.

Chorus: Hunt the hare and turn her down the Rocky Road and all the way to Dublin, whack follol de rah!

In Mullingard last night, i rested limbs so weary, started by daylight next morning blithe and early, Took a drop of the pure to keep my hart from sinking; Thats a Paddy's cure whenever he's on drinking.
See the Lassies smile, laughing all the while, at me darling style, would set your hard a'bubblin, asked i was hired, wages i required, i was almost tierd of the Rocky Road to Dublin, One, Two, Three, Four, FIve.

In Dublin next arrived, i thought it would be such a pitty, to be so deprived a view of that fine city, So i took a stroll, all among the quality;
Me bundle it was stole, all in a neat locality. Something crossed my mind, when i looked behind no bundle i could find, apon me stick a wobblin, crying for a rogue, they said me Connaught brough, wasn't much in vogue on the Rocky Road to Dublin. One, Two, Three, Four, Five.

From there we got away, me spirits never falling, Landed on the quay, jsut as the ship was sailing.  The captain at me roared, said that no room had he;  When i jumped aboard, a cabin found for paddy.  Down amound the pigs, played some hearty rigs, danced some hearty jigs, the water around me bubbling;  Or better of instead on the Rocky Road to Dublin. One, Two, Three, Four, Five.

Well, the boys in liver pool when we safely landed, called my self a fool, no longer i could stand it.  Blood began to boil, temper i was loosing; Poor old Erin's Isle they began abusing.  "Harrah me soul" says I, me Shillelagh i let fly, some galway  boys were nigh and i saw  I was hobble in, with a loud "Hurray!" joined in the affray, we quitely cleared the way for the Rocky Road to Dublin.  One, Two, Three, Four, Five.
