The struggle of memory against oblivion is a struggle against authority. The reality of social struggles bursting against the state, besides the will of statists to distort their meaning and existence, is enduringly developing; many times they are violent and uncompromising, multiform and stiff, appoint through the passage of centuries the continual struggle of the inborn human tension for freedom, against any form of exploitation and enforcement. Social struggles never stopped and continue to disappoint all those who want to distort human nature and enforce every form of authority and tyranny. Whatever mask they carry so far, their substance is the same. Terror, suppression, violent repression of human feelings, needs, tends to deny all authorities and arbitration of their possible disputes among them. But they have never been actually able to ensure total social consent to their plans. Insurrections, everywhere present on our planet, inhibited their plans and declared the congruousness of human entity with disobedience and indiscipline.

Authoritarians moved forward, to promote resignation, into every kind of figments, created laws, rules, norms, frames of behaviour suppressing free human creativity, exploiting and sucking our energy to empower their dominion, destroyed our harmonic relation with nature. They continue committing their crimes against society by even more nightmarish plans (control of every form of life �or �life� if you want- of society, technological monsters, the effort to enthral human entity and convert it into an amenable mass).

This effort is contributed to by the enervation and alienation created by the media, the sterilized and distorted knowledge in schools of every kind, sequel of the propaganda of family and army, withdrawing people from what they really need to know, together with all the useless information trafficking, urging people to content on surviving by paid slavery and consuming commodities and spectacles.

What they baptize as history is one of the biggest lies, that systematically conceals insurrections and moments of freedom and disobedience, presenting everything that happened so far as a consequence of compromise, politics, and diplomacy.

Anarchists �through continuously varying social reality- have to oppose against all that, the uncompromising, anti-institutional word and action against policy, the will to destroy every form of authority and law. Besides, uncompromising action is not only an anarchists� feature. Anarchists were present at almost all the insurrectional events, in many mobilizations, even demanding ones, and are there contributing -their own way- to the escalation of the social war (student struggles, EAS -greek urban transportations-, farmers, not-appointed teachers, Strimonikos �area in North �Greece�, whose inhabitants still violently resist the manufacturing of a gold�s industry, Aravissos -area in central �Greece� whose inhabitants clashed hard with police against water deficiency- and innumerable social events bursting due to state violence and repression).

Therefore, a very significant worry of statists and politicians is how to constrict the anarchist word by means other than direct repression. This indirect repression consists of promoting ideologies and so-called arguments against anarchists and social opinions. Their minions present anarchists as some few punks, as marginal individuals, as utopians, as praisers of chaos, as, as, as� BUT society is able to realize its allies and enemies. They won�t stop to distort the meaning of ANARCHY and rudely attack our beliefs. Social fronts bring down those miserable ideological constructions, constituting the worst nightmare of the modern tyrants.

With desire to carry forward anarchist social perceptions, we go on creating the ANARCHIST ARCHIVE of THESSALONIKI -as a means and not as an end in itself- so as to be a venue for:

- communication, meeting, updating and contact between anarchist -and not only- groups, collectives and individual comrades
- testifying and discussing social liberating perceptions
- resistance against the distortion and slandering of anarchists

Being aware of the disputes between anarchist collectives, groups and individuals that contribute to the escalation of the social war, we call every comrade to help by donating posters, leaflets, and other printed material to the Archive. By this archive we want to appoint the wealth and variety of anarchist opinions.
Being aware that we�re not alone in this struggle� against oblivion, for liberated society, for ANARCHY!
