"Do You Want Extra Butter with that?"

Hello and welcome to "Do you want extra butter with that?" I'm poppy the popcorn, and i'll help you keep track of how much money we can overcharge people on. First a little backstory. At the movie theater known as "the Eight" you can buy extra butter on your popcorn for .27 cents. Although no one ever wants it, the "powers-that-be" decided that 4 out of every 10 people have to buy extra butter. This is just an insane quota, impossible to meet. So to prove our point, we will tack on an extra butter to every order, in which it does not push the customer over the next dollar, and we'll see how close that gets us to the quota.

well, this was the first week we participated in this little activity. It wasn't bad considering that the whole previous week out theater only sold 47 butters and I sold 29 on my own. next week were going for the big 5-0!

this week was a disappointing. on saturday night, i was cleaning theaters, so I didn't get much of an oppurtunity to ring people up on concession, but i still managed 14 during one set. all of sunday i was relegated to the box, so others could sell more butter.

WEEK 3:
Extra Butter total: 51
Money taken from people: $13.77

we finally made the big 50 number that we have been shooting for, but with a tiny bit of cheating. This number also includes 3 EBs that I sold on a tuesday. Saturday was a new single-night record, where i sold 41 EBs. That was an astounding 44% of all popcorn's sold.

WEEK 4:
Extra Butter total: 48
Money taken from people: $12.96

percentage, this week was all about the percentage baby. On saturday night I had 66% extra butter for every popcorn sold and on sunday I had 62%. This is sweet, and just look at all of the money i'm making for the company.
