When I have more time, I will link all of these to their web sites. If you already know of their website, save me some time and e-mail it to me.
One Bad Pig - Old, old, old school punk - Back in the 80's, these guys used to were leather jackets with black & white zebra striped spandex. They haven't changed much. They only tour a few times a year, and I fineally got to see them. About the picture: He is about to jump into a huge tarp filled with ice cream, chocoalte surrup and probably cherries. The pink shirt that he is wearing was white at one time, but we had a symbolic holy communion time where we was drenched in the blood of Jesus. Kool-aid was substituted for the 'blood', and he used candy for the 'bread' since they didn't have time to get to a store and by a real loaf. In other songs, he cut his daughters hair with a giant clippers, squirted the audience with a super soaker water gun, and lit a real guitar on fire before smashing it on stage.
The Deal - Fast, street punk - 'What's the deal???' was a common question in the crowd. The Deal is a West coast band that I should have known about sooner. Along with great music, they also held a moving Bible study--even moving for them, as most members, including the lead singer, cried during the study after seeing so many fans turn out to hear the Bible being read and taught.
