Slacka has recently collaborated with Dro Entertainment's newest group, Second Sight. Their song "Can't Miss", seems that it can't miss. After only 3 days of being live on Stationmp3.com, it has reached the #7 spot. Aside from helping to put out the Dro Entertainment Compelation Album, Slacka has been working with Envious to help bring out his album "Hostile Territory" this summer, he's been working with Second Sight to help bring out their demo album this month, and has his album, "Fla-Less" in production, and ready to be released this April.
BIOGRAPHY
Slacka was born October, 1983. Growing up, it was hard to miss his talent for music. At the age of 11 he began playing the guitar, and now can play the guitar, drums, bass, piano, and has an extreme talent for writing lyrics that everyone can identify with. At the age of 16, Slacka entered his first recording studio, and got his start in the game. Already with one foot in the door, Slacka, despite what his name says, was eager to lay down tracks. He collaborated with STS Productions, and learned everything he could from them. He then went on to form his own group, D.S.O. CAMP, and start working with Chozen Few Ent. The group, made up of Slacka, Fubar, Envious, & Migrane, started performing shows & making a local name for themselves. D.S.O. Camp then went on to collaborate with ThugLine Record's KayMont. It took every penny they had, & an overnight trip to Atlanta, Ga, but their song "Come Get Some" went on to reach the #1 spot on stationmp3.com, and remained #1 for two weeks straight! The group then went their seperate ways, but still all work together, and collaborate. A few weeks later, the group was shocked to hear their newest song on the radio station. Precise, of Precise Management, got a hold of a copy and got it aired on the radio. Slacka recieved a lot of great publicity from that, and then went on to meet King James of ChokeHold Records. King James saw alot of potential in Slacka, and will be the Executive Producer on Slacka's latest project "Fla-Less". Slacka is currently working with Michelle Taylor of SoCo Underground Ent., and helps run Dro Entertainment. Despite his serious personal problems at home, Slacka keeps a good head on his shoulders, and is ready to take the industry by storm!
