Here is my collection of (presentable) skins for the first Sims game. What with the advent of "The Sims 2", one now has to specify which "Sims"... I hate that... but, I digress. Unzip all downloaded crap into your "The Sims/Gamedata/Skins" folder, and it should appear just fine in your game. Oh, and yeah, feel free to redistribute these skins/meshes, but please make sure that when you do you include the .txt file I've put in there, and also provide a link back to my site on yours. My most recent and most accurate self portrait skin (at least in my opinion; perhaps it only really slightly resembles me, I don't know, but with Sims skins there's really only so much you can do). Most of the body skin was done from scratch with some elements coming from a Maxis base. The head skin is pretty much all from scratch using a photo of myself and a base. The meshes are modified Maxis pieces - I used BodyWarp to help fix the proportioning of my body. This pretty much represents my average everyday look.

(update: 16/12/06) ...and an alternate face, just because I can't decide which one is more accurate. The mesh is from Vacation, so you'll need that expansion for this head to work.
