My set began as a 5 pc Percussion Plus, from a local music store for $500. It came with two cymbals, a 20" ride, and 14" hihats, by the great Camber ;) |

This setup did not last long, and was continually changing shape as I found what worked for me. I eventually bought a 16" Sabian AA crash, and life was great. I bought a set of roto-toms, and life was greater still. |

I remember the happy day I actually bought a throne, and retired the wooden stool with chopped off legs. That felt GREAT. |

I would often borrow cymbals from my friend Vinny's set, since he kept his at the church. This saved my poor lone crash from being destroyed. |
