Dr. McCoy is an active volunteer for the Special Olympics and is a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.

| Dr. Maureen McCoy received a graduate deree in Optometry from UC Berkeley and a bachelor's degree in Cultual anthropology from UC Santa Barbara. Her education includes a wide range of studies encompassing the following: binocular vision disorders, low vision evaluation, anatomy, physiology, physics, chemistry, microbiology, neurology, systemic and ocular pathology detection and pharacology as well as other associated topics. Dr. McCoy is an active volunteer for the Special Olympics and is a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. |
